Ahh, yes, this year’s All Star jersey. Who could forget all of the classic, wonderful photos of legends like Aaron, Clemente, and Mays together at the All Star game wearing ~~their own jerseys~~ forgettable All Star jerseys.
Sure, everyone seemed to love it when players wore their own jerseys, and it was something unique to baseball since it’s the only sport that can get away with it, but as long as MLB, Nike, and Fanatics make a few extra dollars then it’s all worth it. I’m sure the money is going to the right place.
