Manfred is going to plant some syringes in his gym bag tomorrow

  2. Sounds more aggressive than he probably meant it but I’m here for it

I support players making their own decision. He doesn’t owe the league. If anything this league owes him for what he’s done for the sport.

    Fuck the HR derby

I remember seeing Ohtani in the home run derby and watching him hit line drive after line drive, but he could not consistently homer like Guerrero or Alonso. He is an undeniable home run threat in a 9 inning game, but the derby seems to be out of his wheelhouse and that is not a bad thing.

They shouldn’t have to even say this. The man would be an IDIOT to risk health in the derby. Makes no sense. Fans understand.

HRD messes up your swing. Its a fun event. But star players are smart to not do it.

I’m shocked it’s come to the point where statements have to be made about why he’s not participating. It’s like people forget that he’s rehabbing from his surgery still. Dude has bigger priorities than hitting dingers

Ohtani should participate in the slam dunk contest

Seems like a very direct and good answer
