I’m just going to pretend I’ve heard of both of these guys.
I don’t know who that is but fangraphs tells me it’s not Aaron Civale, so I’m okay with it

I really like this for the Brewers. Civale isn’t amazing, but has a career ERA, FIP, xFIP all around 4.10 and an xERA right around there. Now just that alone would be a huge improvement on the Brewers current injury-plagued rotation, but add a great defense behind him and the Brewers ability to get the most out of their pitchers and it’s a solid deal. Controllable for 2025 as well.
Barrios is doing well at A+ at a young age, but I’m perfectly fine with him as the return here.
The Rays are the one team that has consistently gotten the better of Cleveland on trades, but right now Manzardo for Civale is looking like a rare Rays L.
