Genuinely kind of wild that not only do the Royals have the best playoff win% since 2010, but almost half of their losses came in a single series, and 5 of 9 came in the World Series.

I love these arbitrarily designated lines that only include my team’s best era and its best year.

  3. ScoobyDoosAccountant

I’m just glad we finally get to be included on these

How can you look at this, and not laugh out loud at the Dodgers and Yankees?

  5. > Yankees have a losing record.

    Neat!

Also, imagine telling an Astros fan in 2010, or in the depths of the rebuild in 2012-13. « Hey, you’ll be tied for the most playoff games with the Dodgers, and have the 3rd best playoff winning percentage! »

« And you know how you won 3 playoff series in 50 years in the NL? Well let me tell you something, buddy. »

The Angels really didn’t win a single playoff game with Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani

  7. I’m honestly surprised the Dodgers are above .500.

Sure as shit doesn’t feel like they should be

My Reds are so bad that we can’t even be the best at being bad so instead we’re just irrelevant and everyone forgets us until they take our best players. Why do I still even watch…

Top 10 on a positive playoff stat? Sign me up

Yankees with a .456 winning percentage is downright hilarious

  11. Should be sorted by total games won imo rather than W%, since deep and more frequent runs are desirable.

For example, are you more impressed by the Padres 8-10 or the Rays 20-28?
Are you more impressed by the Astros 62*-41 or the Red Sox 29-19?

I’m just thrilled we’ve played that many playoff games

  13. MashedPotatoesDick

I was at the game of the best winning percentage which was also the game of the worst winning percentage.

How about we go back 30 years. That’ll probably help the Reds, right?
