Context: he was asked which Grand Slam was his favorite and he picked one of his against the Guardians and it was because he’s not a big fan of the Guardians.
I mean every player is going to be confident about themselves and their team but this kind of comment really only helps motivate the Guards. Best case you do overtake them and you win the division everyone expected you to win anyways, worst case you look a little foolish.
