Can’t imagine how scary that must be for him. Hopefully he’s ok this time

The Angels would go on to score 5 runs with two outs this inning and nearly avenged him with a comeback win

The pitcher should be suspended for at least a month. Absolutely unacceptable level of risk. If he can’t pitch, he should not be allowed to put batters lives in danger.

I feel like players will need to start going up to bat in full body armor soon.

Can’t imagine the mental fortitude this dude has when he comes back. What a champ.

Alek Manoah and Shelby Miller will be in this guy’s nightmares 🙁

Man at some point these guys have got to stop throwing inside if they don’t have the control. There’s been sooo many injuries in the last couple of weeks.

It is stuff like this that will make the C Flap mandatory. Not soon enough, but with pitchers constantly throwing THAT hard and « stuff » being more valued than control, this will keep happening.

My Little League coach used to tell me to keep my eye on the ball. I never saw the benefit to this. I would rather strike out then get to take my base because I got hit in the face.
