   Relevant info here:

   > the Sox also recently had some talks with Crochet and his reps at CAA Sports about a contract extension, according to USA Today’s Bob Nightengale.  These negotiations were “brief” and the team has “no optimism towards reaching an agreement,” and thus Nightengale writes that the White Sox are now indeed planning to move Crochet at the deadline, even though he is still under arbitration control through the 2026 season.
