I don’t blame them. Imagine being the worst team ever and actually playing spoiler and essentially eliminating a team from the playoffs. Would be an absolute embarrassment if the White Sox are the reason the tigers miss the playoffs. And it would happen at home for the Tigers.
He hasn’t pitched more than 4 innings in like 3 months and has an ERA near 6 in that same timeframe. I don’t think this is the daunting task the White Sox think it is.
Good for Sizemore trying to make things fun. As interim manager of a terrible team it would be easy to just ride the season out. Moving SPs to try and play spoiler sends a little bit of a message I think.

Crochet was nails vs the Padres, but then you remember he only pitches 4 innings.. so you just wait for him to have his early exit. Most teams like the odds of 5 innings vs the Sox pen.

The dude was fucking filthy vs the padres. I don’t know if he was amped up for the game because Preller tried to trade for him or what, but he was nasty af.
