(Joel Sherman) Si les Diamondbacks sont éliminés au cours du week-end et que les Mets et les Braves n’ont pas encore réglé leur classement, il appartiendra aux commissaires de décider s’ils doivent jouer lundi à des fins de classement.

Mets magic number for dbacks is 4 right now?

There is not enough popcorn in the world for watching the last 2 wild card spots.

Can’t wait see how Manfred fumbles that ball.

Mets and Braves fans must come together for once and hope the dbacks lose their next 4 games, so neither of them has to get fucked over playing 2 games the day before the playoffs. Rare moment in history.

Essentially the Braves and Mets just need to be 1 game above AZ when Sunday ends to eliminate them

It’s funny because in this situation I think both the Mets and braves would prefer not being the higher seed

I feel like if Manfred told them to play despite the D-Backs being eliminated, it’d be in both the Mets and Braves interest to just say « nah » and forfeit the games and play whoever they fall to playing.

There’s zero chance the seeding would go over well. How would it even work? Braves currently have the H2H but only by a game. If it’s 1 game between them then there is no other option than to play at least 1 game

  9. Honestly, if they’re both in and are the 5th and 6th seeds on Monday, I can see them both saying forget it and taking the day to rest. They’d both have to play away so what’s the point in killing your team and ruining your pitching rotation?

So it’s really in the Brewers interest to make sure to take at least two games in order to force the Mets/Braves to play a DH in Monday and hope for a split.

    WTF, I’ve always been a giants fan! 3 in 5 🏆🏆🏆

  12. FPG_Matthew

What do Mets and Braves fans want if that’s the case? Just happy to get in, or nah fight for the better seed?

  13. ForsakenRacism

Both teams want the 6 seed who can forfeit faster
